

Productivity standards are met by establishing clear goals, providing requisite resources to direct reports, ensuring proper equipment care/maintenance, and engaging the workforce.Ability to work overtime (greater than 40 hours per week) and the ability to work any shift, including 12 hours, evenings, and weekends.Working in various temperatures and humidity levels, depending on building and department (not all work areas are temperature controlled).Use of Personal Protective Equipment in designated areas (Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection, Hair & Beard Netting).Use of various office equipment, cell phones, hand and electrical tools or other power equipment.Reading computer screens or other electronic devices.Sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods of time, up to 12-hours in one shift.Production Supervisors will work an undetermined amount of overtime. Alternate schedules may include early mornings, late nights, and/or working an opposite weekend. However, the Production Supervisor must be willing to work alternate schedules, as needed. Production Supervisors either work an 8-hour shift or a 12-hour (2-2-3) shift. Production Supervisor schedules vary depending on the departments assigned.Work an appropriate amount of overtime to help cover supervisor/manager vacations and absences.Guide and support team members to navigate through difficult or complex problems and resolving issues.Administer, communicate, and interpret work procedures and company policies.Evaluate employee job performance and recommend appropriate personnel action.Initiate and conduct personnel actions such as discipline, performance evaluations, and timekeeping.

This role directs and coordinates day-to-day shift activities by providing leadership and supervision in assigned departments (but may be assigned other duties). The Production Supervisor role is responsible for safety, employee management and engagement, productivity, quality, and customer service on an assigned shift.
